I’m not a big fan of sports analogies, but this article in the New Yorker by Malcolm Gladwell tells the story of a young girls basketball team (by young, I mean 12) and their foreign, analytical coach - an outsider to the game - who took them to the Junior National tournament by having them play the full-court press all the time.
